Davey 2 year old, Male, Rottweiller x Collie crossbreed

Davey is a 2 year old male Rottweiler x Collie crossbreed who is looking for his forever home. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Davey is partially house-trained. He can be energetic and playful but also defensive towards reactive dogs. Davey has been gentle with visiting children. He has lived alongside caged rabbits and gerbils. He has some separation anxiety and would like a home where someone is around most of the day. Please enquire.

Davey's Assessment.

● Davey is neutered, fully vaccinated, and has no known health issues.
● When left alone in the house, he may bark or cry but often sleeps.
● Davey is pleased to see you when you arrive home and will jump up to greet you.
● At home with Davey, he’ll always follow you between rooms and often has a lot of energy to play. He does love to be lazy and sleep a lot too - sometimes getting into mischief.
● If someone is at the front door then Davey gets really energetic and barks. If it’s a male he may sometimes grumble.
● Davey is fed twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. For breakfast he has dry kibble and for tea he has tinned meat and kibble. He has ASDA’s workers dog tins and Dr John’s working dog kibble.
● He has a Pedigree Dental stick during the day and some treats too. He especially likes Bakers Treats and Pedigree Twizzlers.
● Davey is very good at waiting for his food and usually sits straight away. He’ll wait until told that he can eat.
● He’s partially house trained and still has some accidents.
● Davey hasn’t had obedience training but does understand the following commands: sit, stay, and paw.
● He’s used to having a walk once or twice each day and will sometimes pull on his lead.
● Davey is energetic and playful when around other dogs but can become defensive if the dog is behaving aggressively.
● He’s not lived with other children but is used to ones between the ages of four and ten visiting. Davey has been very gentle and playful when it comes to little children but hasn’t encountered one younger than four.
● Davey has never lived with other dogs and doesn’t get along with cats. He has been used to small animals which live in cages and is curious about them.
● He can be a little anxious especially when he’s being separated from you.
