Max is a 4.5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for his forever home. Max is neutered and micro-chipped. Max is fully house-trained. Max is reactive to most dogs on the lead if close to him, but will mostly ignore other animals if they are further away. Max friendly around the children he has met. Max is afraid of fireworks. ●Max is neutered, has been microchipped and is not yet fully up to date with his vaccines
●Max has no known health issues
●Max sleeps and is calm when he is left home alone
●Max is pleased to see you when you get home, will jump up to say hello and lick you
●Max sometimes follows you around the house. When you are home, Max likes to be close to you and will sit by you, is very affectionate and enjoys playing
●Max barks when people knock at the door, he likes to investigate and is very friendly
●Max likes to prance and give his paw while you are preparing his food but will go and lie down in his bed if he is told to
●Max has access to dry Earl’s complete dog food throughout the day and enjoys eating any food you have throughout the day – unless it's potato!
●Max is fully house trained
●Max has not had formal obedience training but knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come here’, ‘paw’, ‘tell me’, ‘speak’ and ‘’show me’
●Max pulls sometimes when he is on the lead
●Max can be nervous around other dogs, he is fine with those he knows but scared and reactive with any other dog whilst he is on the lead. He will ignore cats and other dogs if they are further down the road and only respond when they are close to him
●Max has regular contact with children from the ages of 1 month old to 7 years old, he has been friendly and affectionate with all
●Max has not lived with any other animals before
●Max is afraid of fireworks and doesn’t like bath time – he will sit and stand whilst he is being bathed with encouragement!
●Max has never injured another animal or a human before
