Jem 11 year old female Jack Russell x Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Jem is a 11 year old female Jack Russell x Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for her forever home. Jem is neutered and micro-chipped. Jem is scared of fireworks, thunderstorms and loud noises. Jem is fully house-trained. Jem walks nicely on the lead. Jem is temperamental and reactive with other dogs and can have possession issues around them. Jem has lived with children and has been fine with them, but does need her space from younger children. Jem has lived with another dog previously but would suit an experienced pet free home where someone is around most of the day. This dog is now reserved, click details for updates.

●Jem is neutered, has been microchipped and is not yet fully up to date with her vaccines
●Jem has no known health problems
●Jem is destructive, barks, cries and sleeps when she is left home alone
●Jem will be pleased to see you, jump up and growls (in a friendly excited manner) when you get home
●Jem loves to be around you and will always follow you around the home. When you are home, Jem is very calm, she likes to sleep and occasionally play
●Jem barks and welcomes people who knock at the door, she greets them with a wagging tail and licks!
●Jem waits patiently while you prepare her food
●Jem eats jelly tinned supermarket own brand dog food twice a day. Jem eats mixer dry food with her dinner but always has access to dry food throughout the day
●Jem is fully house-trained
●Jem has not had formal training, but she knows the commands ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come here’, ‘leave it’, ‘paw’, ‘recall’ (when off the lead), ‘beg’, ‘sit up nice’ and ‘fetch it’
●Jem walks nicely when she is on the lead
●Jem can be reactive with other dogs who are aggressive towards her when she goes for walks but has been fine with dogs who aren’t. Jem can be possessive of her dog treats and bones with other dogs but is fine with humans
●Jem has lived with from toddlers to teenagers all of her life, she has been fine with all children but would be best suited to a home that has older children/ teenagers
●Jem has lived with other dogs before. Jem would not be suited to living with cats as she does not like them
●Jem has separation anxiety which has developed over the last 3 years
●Jem is loving and affectionate towards people, especially men!
●Jem is anxious of loud noises such as cars, loud visitors, fireworks, heavy rain and thunderstorms – Jem will need a home who can understand and be aware of her fear of loud sudden noises as she can get distressed and look for hiding places
●Jem has injured another dog before
