Neville's Assessment

● Neville is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross looking for his forever home. Neville would do well in an adult home that is able to commit to his training and give him the attention he needs to develop. Neville had formal training for the first time recently and this saw an improvement with his behaviour towards other dogs when out walks, owners able to continue with this would really help Neville settle into his new home.
● Neville is fully vaccinated and micro-chipped
● Neville has mixed behaviours when left home alone and will sometimes sleep, or sometimes he will bark and cry
● Neville is pleased to see you when you get home and will jump up to greet you
● Neville likes to be around people and will follow you between rooms in the house and lie across your lap when relaxing
● Neville can be cautious with new people he meets but will be fine once more familiar
● Neville has recently been through some obedience training and been given a new lead to help with his reaction to other dogs when out on walks as he will pull and bark, this training was very helpful and a home that could continue with this would most likely see a big improvement when out and about
● Neville will bark and jump up when people come to the door, consistent training could also help manage this
● Neville will whine a bit with excitement waiting to be fed!
● Neville is currently given food in the morning that’s left out during the day, Bakers or Tesco’s Complete brand
● Neville has previously bitten another dog in a living situation so would not be suitable to live with another animal, he would do well as the only dog in the home
● Neville is partially house trained and will sometimes still have accidents, if left too long at home without access outside he will occasionally urinate
● Neville knows the commands come here, leave it and has recall when off the lead
● Neville has been around children in the home previously, but he is quite strong around younger children and would do best in a home with older children or just adults that can give him the attention and training he needs to be a fantastic family dog
