Miko is a friendly 14 year old Jack Russell looking for a comfortable retirement home. She is vaccinated and microchipped. Miko has had surgery to remove some lumps. She is not used to living with children but has lived with another dog. She has had some formal obedience training and understands a range of commands. Miko is good with other dogs but likes her space. She is partially house-trained. She would suit a pet-free adult home. Please enquire.

● Miko has had some lumps successfully removed which have been sent off for examination.
● When left alone, she barks but is pleased to see you when you return.
● She sometimes follows you to other rooms.
● Miko is calm and friendly when home with her family. She likes to look out the window and bark at passersby.
● When people are at the door, she will bark but she’s nervous when they come into the home.
● Miko is not shy at letting you know she’s hungry, kicking her bowl as an indicator. She can become impatient when waiting for food and has no problem with stealing her siblings treats.
● She is fed Algood's complete food for working dogs. She is also trained with food-based rewards.
● She is partially house trained
● Miko has had some formal obedience training. Her previous family have been worked on her lead-pulling by rewarding good lead behaviour. She understands the commands sit, stay, come here, paw and speak.
● Miko can show some possession issues around food.
● She is walked once a day
● She reacts well to other dogs but is not particularly playful. She can become shy and tense if dogs are barking a lot around her.
● She is not used to living with children.
● She is used to living with another dog but can’t live with cats.
● She would suit a home with another dog called Reggie or a home where she can receive plenty of love and attention.
