Obi 5 Year Old, Male, Retriever X Collie

Obi is a 5 year old Male Retriever x Collie looking for his forever home. He is fully neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped, Obi is on medication for anxiety. Obi struggles with other dogs when out and has been exercised in a secure private field. He pulls a lot on the lead. He has no formal obedience training but understands some commands. Obi is looking for an experienced adult-only home that can help provide a calm environment. Please enquire.

● He is on medication for anxiety
● When left alone, he sleeps
● When you come home, he is pleased to see you
● He will always follow you to other rooms
● When home with his family he is calm and loves his toys
● When people are at the front door, he is excited and will bark until he sees who is there
● Obi will wait for his food until told to eat, he is fed twice a day on nutrient-rich dry food
● He is fully house-trained
● He has no formal obedience training but understands sit, stay, come here, leave it, and paw
● He has been exercised in a secure field and on a treadmill as he hasn't been able to cope with going out on regular walks
● He will pull a lot on the lead
● Obi does not like other dogs and is reactive around them when out on walks
● He has lived with another dog happily but is selective of his canine companions
● Obi has injured another dog before and will need a pet-free home.
