Bear 5 year old, Male, Pocket American Bulldog

Bear is a loving 5 year old Pocket American Bulldog. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He loves going for a walk and will sometimes pull on the lead. Bear has lived with other dogs but has developed possession issues. He has no formal obedience training but understands a small range of commands. Bear has lived with children but is looking for a calm experienced adult home. Please enquire.

● Bear is 4 stone in weight currently and measuring 13 inches in height from the withers.
● He has no known health issues
● When left alone, he will sleep
● When you come home, he is pleased to see you and barks
● He sometimes follows you to other rooms
● When home with his family, Bear prefers a calm environment. He sometimes struggles to settle in busier environments which can make him anxious.
● When people are at the door, Bear can be anxious and will bark. It is best if visitors initially ignore Bear.
● He waits patiently for his meals and is fed twice a day on a good quality wet food (he went off of his raw food diet)
● He is fully house trained
● He has no obedience training but understands sit, stay and come here
● Bear loves his walks. He is walked once (sometimes twice) a day. He will sometimes pull on the lead.
● He is used to living with other dogs but has recently become reactive towards them over a ball. It would be best if Bear was an only dog.
● Bear has lived with children but prefers a calm and quiet environment so is more likely to thrive in an adult only home.
● He can be nervous about fast hand movements from adults and has nipped due to a specific situation previously when he was trying to go out of an open gate of a holiday let. He was prevented from leaving but nipped/bit an adult family member.
● Bear arrived with his previous family before lockdown and as such has missed out on key socialisation activities.
