Brutus is a 7 year old male Border Collie who is looking for his forever home. Brutus is vaccinated and micro-chipped. Brutus is fully house-trained. Brutus is friendly with other dogs. ●Brutus will bark when someone knocks at the door and wants a stroke! Brutus is happy around people and very friendly to everyone
●Brutus sits and wags his tail while when you prepare his food
●Brutus currently eats dry dog food with salmon and rice twice a day. Brutus likes dog treats three times a day too
●Brutus is fully house trained
●Brutus has not had formal obedience training, but knows ‘bark’, ‘sit’, ‘come here’, ‘leave it’, ‘stay’ and ‘paw’
●Brutus pulls a lot when he is on the lead
●Brutus is lovely with other dogs and likes to play with them
●Brutus has been around children and has lived with children over 4 years and likes to bring the ball over for fetch!
●Brutus has lived with other dogs before and would be suited to living with other dogs

Once the homecheck has been completed, applicants will need to wait to hear if they are successful in adopting the dog.

The most suitable home for the dog will be selected and the successful applicant will be given the option to reserve the dog.

The dog will then become unavailable for adoption to other members of the public and will be marked as reserved.

During the pandemic, we are much busier than usual and as we are run by volunteers we are unfortunately unable to respond to everyone individually about the status of their application.

Please rest assured your application is appreciated and we recommend checking the status information for updates on the dog you wish to adopt until you are either contacted and given details of the next steps or the dog is reserved.

Occasionally dogs may become available again and the status bar will change to reflect this.
